El Bèlit es un juego local de Girona, cuya práctica se centra en el barrio de Sant Narcís, distrito separado del resto de la ciudad desde la construcción del AVE, cuya estación genera un gran muro entre éste y el resto de la ciudad.
Con la colaboración de vecinos, me adentré en el barrio para aprender a jugar a esta modalidad, juego tradicional que se practicaba en muchos puntos de España en la época de postguerra, pero que con el paso del tiempo ha ido desapareciendo, siendo el barrio de Sant Narcís uno de los pocos lugares donde se sigue desarrollando.
El bèlit se ha convertido en una de las identidades del barrio. Con el paso del tiempo los mismos jugadores y vecinos han ido dando forma y complejidad a esta modalidad, llegando a desarrollar una federación deportiva de éste.
