El 12 de julio de 1979 se recuerda como el día que la música disco ardió en manos de los discófobos: la Disco Demolition Night fue un evento ocurrido en mitad de un encuentro de béisbol entre los Chicago White Sox y los Detroit Tigers, en el desaparecido estadio de Comiskey Park, un acto homófobo y racista oculto por el odio hacia la música disco. El momento álgido del evento fue cuando se hizo explosionar en mitad del campo una basta cantidad de vinilos, creando un boquete en mitad del campo y animando a los espectadores a invadir el campo de juego, derivando en unos grandes disturbios. El acto recuerda a la quema de libros provocada por la nazis, utilizando la destrucción de la cultura como acto terrorista para dar invisibilidad a otras realidades y formas de pensamiento.
I Remember Yesterday es una posible propuesta de homenaje a la música disco, a los vinilos y a las canciones. Una instalación en memoria a las canciones disco que fueron publicadas hasta la fecha del evento, una forma de reconocer la importancia de dicho género musical, su influencia en la música que vendría después, y su labor para la inclusión de la diversidad sexual y racial en la pista de baile.
La lista de la canciones está pensada para ser expuesta en un marcador electrónico deportivo, recordando al marcador original de la Comiskey Park de 1979. Presentadas por oden alfabético, no se hace distinción por grupos de música, ni por los discos donde fueron publicadas las canciones, buscando dar la misma visibilidad a todas a pesar del mayor o menor éxito que tuvieron las mismas.

July 12, 1979 is remembered as the day that disco music burned in the hands of discophobes: Disco Demolition Night was an event that occurred in the middle of a baseball match between the Chicago White Sox and the Detroit Tigers, in the now defunct Comiskey Park stadium, a homophobic and racist act hidden by hatred towards disco music. The climax of the event was when a large amount of vinyl exploded in the middle of the field, creating a hole in the middle of the field and encouraging spectators to invade the playing field, leading to major riots. The act is reminiscent of the book burning caused by the Nazis, using the destruction of culture as a terrorist act to give invisibility to other realities and forms of thought.
I Remember Yesterday is a possible tribute proposal to disco music, vinyl and songs. An installation in memory of the disco songs that were published up to the date of the event, a way to recognize the importance of said musical genre, its influence on the music that would come later, and its work for the inclusion of sexual and racial diversity in the dance floor.
The list of songs is designed to be displayed on an electronic sports scoreboard, reminiscent of the original scoreboard from Comiskey Park in 1979. Presented in alphabetical order, no distinction is made by music groups, nor by the albums on which the songs were published. , seeking to give the same visibility to all of them despite the greater or lesser success they had.
